Hello. I am King Narmer. I am the white- crownking of Upper Egypt (which to us would be Lower Egypt). Me and the red- crown had lots of wars. Finally, we agreed to have one more war and whoever won this war would be king of all of Egypt. I won the war so I got to be in control of all of Egypt. I instantly put the red crown on my head. That is why the Pharaoh now wears a white crown with a red strip in it.
P.S: You are probably wondering why Upper Egypt is to us Lower Egypt. The reason is Upper Egypt is at the top of the mountains but in the south.
